Welcome to Kind Care Home Attendant Services. Kind Care’s mission is to provide our clients with personal care services that assist them in dealing with illness or disability, while maintaining their place in the community with independence and dignity.

Progressive DBA Kind Care provides Home Attendant services to Medicaid eligible individuals through a contract with the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) that went into effect December 2001. Eligibility determinations and approval of services are determined by HRA.

Home Attendant services include assistance with personal care (i.e. feeding, bathing, personal grooming, dressing, etc) and household tasks (i.e. cleaning, laundry, marketing, cooking, etc).

Kind Care adheres to the New York State Department of Health and New York City Human Resources Administration regulations regarding home care services. At Kind Care, our clients receive quality services from the staff person caring for them, as well as a number of important support services, including:

		Clinical and Administrative staff on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays.
		Replacement personnel available to work when the regularly assigned staff person is off duty.
		Ongoing inservice education programs to ensure that staff has access to the most up-to-date information and skills.

All of our employees are fully screened including criminal background and reference check. Field staff also undergo physical examinations (including a forensic drug screen) to meet all standards, regulations and contract requirements.
